Ill give it a try .. What is everyone doing for the summer?

I've been on vacation and visited my folks. I begin my summer job on Friday.
I sure do hope I can work. Everything is a challenge these days. Fatigue is a big issue, along with walking.

Why is it taking that long to have results Elaine? Are there no labs? No Doctors, what is happening in Nova Scotia?

We have the worst wait times in the country. I don't know if it is incompetence in the bureaucracy, lack of surgeons, or a dearth of time in the operating rooms or all of the above. The path lab is down two pathologists, and due to the mistakes that have plagued other provinces, some tests are done twice.
Ten years ago it took a week for the same results. I know that it won't make any difference to my outcomes if it takes a few weeks longer, but what about the people for whom the results are crucial?

Next Wednesday, the 14th. But there is no good answer. If there is nothing there, I will be waiting every year for the time when it strikes again. With my history, I will never feel safe. Better if there is something there and I can have a mastectomy and be done with it. Thank you for asking.

Elaine. I have a similar problem with calcifications that are being watched from year to year. So far, so good, but it doesn't make for easy living, does it? Hoping it's all good for you.

I just got back from Belize, hot as H**L there but we had a great time sailing. I'll be spending most of the summer on the beach with my 2 goldens who now look like Labrador Retriever with their summer cuts.
